Ghana will experience severe impoverishment of its natural resources if the necessary steps are not taken to stop negative acts that disturb the ecosystem such as bush burning, illegal tree felling and illegal mining.
Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana, the Technical Advisor to the Forestry Commission, Dr. Kwakye Ameyaw said a conscious effort must be made to restore the forest reserves especially to avert the looming danger of food insecurity in the country.
