GBC endorses campaign to ensure public sector punctuality

The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), has endorsed a Campaign by the Punctuality Ghana Foundation to drum home the need for Public Sector Workers to be punctual in their various Institutions.

GBC as a media tool is to help educate and inform the public on the necessity of punctuality in various work places.

In a meeting with GBC, a Lead Crusader with Punctuality Ghana, Emmanuel AmarQuaye emphasised the need for timely delivery of service within Public Institutions. Mr. AmarQuaye said workers should make it a point to change their attitude towards work.

The Campaign which aims to promote punctuality, effectiveness and efficiency in Ghana particularly the Public Sector sort a collaboration with the GBC to help promote the agenda.

A Lead Crusader with Punctuality Ghana, Emmanuel AmarQuaye, said lack of punctuality is a serious challenge hence the need to join hands to fight the canker.

The Director of Radio at GBC, Yaw Opoku Agyapong said in as much as efforts are being made to inject the culture of punctuality into the work system, there is the need to align it with productivity.

Punctuality Ghana foundation drafted a pledge which states, ‘I pledge to be punctual everywhere at any time’. This is to help Public Sector workers recite and practice it everyday.
