An eight member executive has been sworn in to steer affairs of the Local Union of GBC Sunrise FM in Koforidua, under the Public Services Workers Union, PSWU of the Trades Union Congress, TUC.
The team has a four year mandate, with Frank Anim as Chairman, George Awuah as First Vice Chairman and Candida Dery as Second Vice. A new position, Youth Organizer was won by Benjamin Ameyaw.
The Eastern Regional Industrial Relations Officer, Edmund Kyeremeh, swore the officers in and charged them to carry out their duties devoid of division, and help unite the workers towards a common goal.
He asked them to be abreast of the PSWU Constitution to facilitate their work.
The Chairman, Frank Anim on behalf of the team thanked the staff for the trust reposed in them, and called for their support and cooperation to make the Union effective.
