The Ghana Police Service has issued a disclaimer refuting claims circulating on various social media platforms about an ongoing recruitment exercise.
In a press release dated 23rd June, 2025, the Police Administration categorically stated that the information being shared is false. It emphasized that no new recruitment exercise has been announced and that any future recruitment will be duly advertised through official communication channels. These include the Service’s official website, verified social media platforms, and national dailies.
The statement, signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police Grace Ansah-Akrofi, who serves as the Director of Public Affairs, advised the public to disregard such fraudulent claims and avoid engaging with individuals or groups demanding money in exchange for recruitment opportunities.
The Ghana Police Service further assured the public that it is actively investigating these fraudulent activities. Persons found to be involved in such schemes will be arrested and prosecuted in accordance with the law.
The Service also encouraged the public to report any individuals or groups engaged in fraudulent recruitment activities to the nearest Police Station.
