The Chairman of the Entrepreneurship Training Institute (ETI), Rev. Prof B. A. Ntreh says a lot of entrepreneurs have been trained to spearhead the country’s developmental agenda.
He urged government to provide the enabling environment and incentives for those trained to venture into their own businesses.
He also called on other stakeholders such as the private sector and international organisations to assist.
The 8th Graduation and matriculation of the Entrepreneurship Training focused on growing Ghana’s economy through the role of entrepreneurs.
The institution’s main aim is to train entrepreneurs to spearhead the country’s developmental agenda in transforming the economy.
Speaking to the media at the ceremony, the chairman of the Governing Council of the institute Rev. Prof. B. A.Ntreh said entrepreneurs should take risks, be courageous, determined and most certainly must persevere to be successful to become the vehicle for progress.
He also said, individuals must be empowered with the requisite knowledge and skills to create jobs.
The Rector of the Institute, Prof. Agyeman Badu Akosa said, the spirit of entrepreneurship is instilled in the students during their four year stay in the institute.
About 418 students graduated while two hundred and forty-seven students matriculated.
