A staff of the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) has drowned while fixing a burst pipeline which had resulted in water shortage in Ho in the Volta Region.
The pipe which supplies water from the Kpeve Treatment Plant to the Ho Municipality got burst last weekend, resulting in an acute water shortage in the area.
The deceased has been identified as 28-year old Christopher Somey.
The Police visited the scene and conveyed the body to the Ho Teaching Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
