Junior Staff course 74 graduates from Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College

The Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College has held a graduation ceremony for Junior Staff Course 74 at Teshie, near Accra.

The 21-Week Course is designed to offer opportunity for students to broaden their professional and general outlook.

The Guest of Honour, Major General Richard Opoku-Adusei, noted that the devastating effects of COVID-19, calls for the collaborative effort of all Ministries, Metropolitan and District Assemblies, Security Agencies and the Media to fight challenges posed by the pandemic.

The students numbering 60 comprised of 44 officers drawn from the Armed Forces of Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, the Gambia, and Liberia.

The guest of Honour, Major General Richard Opoku-Adusei Rtd reminded the graduates of current and emerging trends such as Transnational organised crime, money laundering, cyber-crime and terrorism which seem to have been overshadowed by Covid-19.

He stated that the threats required a multi-faceted approach that no single institution could successfully handle.

Major General Opoku-Adusei congratulated the graduands and commended the leadership of the institution for the successful holding of the course.

The ultimate prize went to captain Cosmos Asamoah who was adjudged the overall best student of the course.
