Traders at the New Makola No.2 market, near Agbogbloshie in Accra, are appealing to government to come to their aid and re-build the market which was razed down by fire in November, 2010.
They are also appealing to the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) to take over management of the market, from MMC Properties Management Limited, the Company presently managing it, alleging they are being short changed.
