The Board Chairman of the Minerals Commission, Sampson Boafo, has assured stakeholders in the industry on the prospects of mining in the country.
He said Ghana’s mining sector needs to be projected to its desired level in terms of job creation and economic growth.
There is, therefore, the need for more investment in the sector.
Mr. Boafo was speaking to journalists after he led the Board of the Commission on a working visit to Asanko Gold, a mining company in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region.
