The General Secretary of the Mortuary Workers Association, Richard Kofi Jordan, says the Association will embark on an indefinite strike Wednesday since negotiations with the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission did not go down well and could not address issues concerning workers welfare.

In an interview with Radio Ghana, Mr. Jordan said instead of discussions on the logistics and welfare issues of the members, the commission rather focused on why he, Mr. Jordan a non-mortuary worker should be fighting for the workers.

Mr. Jordan noted that this is just an attempt to avoid negotiations and interfere in matters of the association.
