The 10-year-old boy, Ishmael Abdallah who was allegedly murdered at Kasoa in the Central Region for money rituals, is to be buried today.
Spokesperson for the family, Samed Akaliku, said efforts made by the family to retrieve the body from the police proved futile however, they have received hints that everything indicates that the body will be released to the family today so they can proceed with the burial according to Islamic traditions and rituals.
Meanwhile, the spiritualist alleged to be at the centre of the gruesome killing of the boy has been arrested by the Central Region Police. According to police sources, he was arrested at Amanase near Suhum in the Eastern Region.
A case docket has been handed over to the CID headquarters.
