The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) closed the year on a high note with its annual Nine Lessons and Carols and end-of-year get-together, celebrating the dedication and hard work of its staff.
The event saw the presence of top officials, including the Director-General of NADMO, Major (Rtd) Dr. Joseph Bikanyi Kuyon, among others.

Musical performances by the Evergreen Choir and fire Service Band set a festive tone for the occasion.

Staff enjoyed a lively celebration filled with merry-making, dancing, food, and drinks, along with an engaging question-and-answer segment that kept everyone entertained.
Awards were presented to outstanding workers under various Deputy Director Generals’ departments, honoring exceptional male and female staff.
Zachariah Mahama was recognized as the Best Regional Director of the year.
The highlight of the event was the announcement of the Best Worker of 2025. Mr. Jacob Awuni, a cleaner at NADMO affectionately known as Adwumawura, received top honors and went home with a home theatre system for his exemplary service.

His dedication and consistent excellence have earned admiration from colleagues across the organization.
The celebration not only recognized outstanding contributions but also fostered unity among staff, leaving everyone in high spirits as the organization heads into the new year.
