National Chief Imam reiterates call to end forced Child Marriage

The National Chief Imam, Shiekh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu says shared and collective efforts by stakeholders in child protection are needed to eradicate Child Marriage in the country.

He said child marriage denies girls their right to education, health and security.

He commended efforts by Plan Ghana, an NGO in bringing stakeholders together to ensure responsible adolescent sexual lifestyle.

He said this when Plan International Ghana paid a courtesy call on him at his residence in Accra.
