The atmosphere at the Emmanuel Event Enclave was electric on February 27 night, as the Christian community gathered to launch the 70th birthday anniversary celebrations of one of Africa’s most formidable Christian leaders: Rev. Dr. Christy Doh Tetteh.
Affectionately known as the “Spiritual Bulldozer,” Rev. Dr. Christy Doh Tetteh’s life is a masterclass in resilience and faith. The launch event served as a high-spirited curtain-raiser, punctuated by two major highlights: the official unveiling of the anniversary logo and the grand launch of the 70th-anniversary cloth.

A Visual Legacy: The Logo and the Cloth.
In a moment of high ceremony, the commemorative logo was revealed to a standing ovation. Designed to reflect her seven decades of impact, the logo features bold gold accents symbolizing the “Golden Years of Divinity and Glory” and purple, a reflection of “Royalty and Dominion”.
Following the logo reveal, the 70th Anniversary Cloth was officially launched. The fabric, a masterpiece of Ghanaian textile artistry, features intricate patterns that tell the story of Solid Rock Chapel’s journey. Dignitaries and church members alike lined up to secure the first pieces of the fabric, which will be worn across the nation during the thanksgiving service on April 12, 2026.
A Legacy Carved in Stone and Spirit.
The launch highlighted the journey of a woman who began her ministry as a personal secretary to the renowned Archbishop Benson Idahosa. For twelve years in Benin City, she sat at the feet of a man of God whom many have over the years believed to be a giant of the faith, emerging with the fire that would eventually ignite the Solid Rock Chapel International.

Her achievements are as diverse as they are impactful:
A Trailblazer for Women: As one of the first prominent female General Overseers in Ghana, she paved the way for thousands of women to find their voices in the pulpit.
Missions of Mercy: Known for her consistent support of the Accra Psychiatric Hospital, the Akropong School for the Blind, and various orphanages.
A Cloud of Witnesses: Notable Figures in Attendance.
The launch was a “who’s who” of the Ghanaian clergy and society, reflecting the deep respect she commands across denominational lines. In attendance were, Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah, Rev. Mrs. Rita Korankye Ankrah (Long-time friends and pillars of the charismatic faith) , Mama Dora Tackie Yaboi, Rev. Kofi Oduro, Apostle Abraham Lamptey, amongst others.

”70 Years is Just the Beginning”
Looking radiant and full of the vitality that earned her the “Bulldozer” moniker, Rev. Dr. Doh Tetteh expressed profound gratitude to God.
”I am a product of mercy,” she told the congregation.
The celebration will continue with a series of events, up until April 19 which will be the dedication of uncommon faith cathedral.
