The Minority in Parliament, has called for an immediate termination of the concession agreement with PDS in the distribution of power.
Government, last night issued a statement announcing a suspension of the agreement and asking ECG to take over.
Former Deputy Power Minister, John Jinapor, believes it is not enough to suspend the contract, and government must go further to abrogate it completely.
He said government must constitute a non-partisan Board immediately, to manage ECG, which must in turn, appoint a new management and sign a performance contract with them.
