Pastor Eric Oduro Asiamah, husband of popular evangelist Patricia Asiedua, also known as Nana Agradaa, has finally broken his silence after his wife was sentenced to 15 years in prison with hard labour.
Nana Agradaa, who is the founder of Heaven Way Champion Ministries and a former traditional priestess, was convicted by the Accra Circuit Court for false advertising and defrauding by false pretence. The case was connected to a televised church service where she promised to double money for members of her congregation. Many of them later complained that they lost their money after the event.
Speaking after the verdict, Pastor Asiamah explained that the fraud allegations were linked to the offertory collected during an all-night service held three years ago. He claimed that the complaints from church members after that event were what led to his wife’s conviction.
Despite the sentence, Pastor Asiamah said that the church would not shut down. “It’s normal. The church will continue,” he stated confidently.

The news has sparked mixed reactions among the public, with some questioning the operations of the church, while others continue to show support for the embattled evangelist.
