The General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Rev Stephen Wengam, has inducted into office the Superintendent of the Western North Region of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev Alex Akaa Boateng.

in a sermon titled, “The Leader’s Greatest Asset Is A Pure Heart (Matthew 5:8),” called on leaders and Christians to cultivate godly hearts devoid of unforgiveness, jealousy, disloyalty, and pride.
He reminded such leaders that a pure heart is what distinguished King David from all other Kings in Israel and that he was commended as a man after God’s own heart.
Rev Wengam charged the new leadership in the Western North to unite the region and plant more churches.
Supporting the General Superintendent to officiate the ceremony were Rev Robert Eshun, Mid-Western Regional Superintendent, and Rev Stephen Osei Owusu, Brong Ahafo Region “C” Regional Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana.
The Western North Regional Superintendent, Rev Akaa Boateng, promised to provide visionary leadership for the advancement of the region. He further pledged to work towards the construction of a Regional Retreat Centre.
This will help solve challenges over accommodation and venue for the many events in the region.
Present were traditional rulers and other dignitaries.
