A protest march by residents of Sunyani dubbed “Sunyani Deserves Better” has taken place in the Bono Regional Capital.
Many Residents and Citizens of Sunyani participated in the demonstration although the attendance could have been better.
The event was climaxed with the presentation of a petition to the Bono Regional House of Chiefs by a Spokesperson for the demonstrators, Ransford Antwi, who in a brief comment said Sunyani is lagging behind in development.
”The government must be fair to the people of the area and turn the situation around”.
Our Bono Regional Correspondent John Sam-Arthur reports that the issue of the basics of life including water, good roads among high market prices were issues that dominated the demonstration.
