Multiple award-winning journalist Kweku Bolton was honoured at the 10th edition of the Continental Pan-African Journalism Awards 2025, hosted by the Pan-African Insurance and Reinsurance Journalism Awards Committee in Cape Town, South Africa. His entry featured a comprehensive and analytically rich report on parametric insurance that left a lasting impression on the judges.
The judging panel and organizing committee praised Bolton’s unwavering passion and commitment to impactful journalism, citing his work as a benchmark in reporting complex financial topics with insight.
This year’s awards attracted over 150 entries from 19 African countries, spanning English-speaking, French-speaking, and Arabic-speaking regions. Winners received certificates, cash prizes, trophies, and international recognition for their efforts in spotlighting critical insurance-related issues across the continent.
