Court to give judgment on Achimota-Rasta students’ case today

The Human Rights Division of the High Court will today Monday, May 31, 2021, give judgment in the case of two Rastafarian boys who gained admission into Achimota School  but were asked to removed their dreadlocks before.

Nana Kwaku Nkrabea and Tyron Marhguy, gained admission into Achimota School  via the computerized school selection and placement system.

The incident which triggered public discourse eventually ended up in the court after the two students filed cases against the decision to remove their dreadlocks before they can pursue their course at the school.
