The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced that it has successfully resolved a technical challenge that temporarily disrupted the purchase of electricity credits for customers using MMS-compliant meters on Sunday, December 28.
In a follow-up statement issued on Monday, December 29, ECG said the fault had been fully fixed.
The company noted that customers can now purchase electricity credits for their MMS-compliant meters through the ECG Power App, the shortcode *226#, and authorised third-party vendors.
ECG thanked customers and the general public for their patience, support and cooperation during the brief disruption, and reaffirmed its commitment to improving service delivery.
