Ghanaian agribusiness entrepreneur and founder of SkinVive, Esther Kyerewaa Twumasi, is representing Ghana on the global stage at the prestigious Macfrut Expo 2026, currently underway in Rimini.

Recognized as one of the world’s leading international exhibitions for the fruit and vegetable sector, Macfrut brings together industry leaders, innovators, investors, and agribusiness stakeholders from across the globe.

The event serves as a hub for cutting-edge agricultural technologies, value chain innovations, and strategic partnerships shaping the future of food systems.

Esther is attending this global expo on the ticket of the E4Impact Foundation, a renowned organization committed to supporting high-impact entrepreneurs across Africa and beyond. Her participation reflects not only personal achievement but also a growing recognition of Ghanaian-led innovation within the global agribusiness ecosystem.

At the expo, Esther is proudly exhibiting SkinVive, a Ghanaian enterprise that transforms cocoa pod husk waste, often discarded as an environmental burden into natural, chemical-free skincare products. Through this innovative circular economy model, SkinVive is addressing two critical challenges: creating additional income streams for cocoa farmers and meeting the rising global demand for sustainable, organic skincare solutions.

Speaking from Rimini, Esther emphasized the significance of the moment:

“Being here is a powerful reminder that African innovation belongs on the global stage. SkinVive is not just a business, it is a solution that connects agriculture, sustainability, and beauty while empowering farmers, especially women.”

Her participation also highlights the importance of global exposure for African entrepreneurs, particularly women in agribusiness. As the founder of the Miss Agriculture Ghana Initiative and co-founder of the Chamber of Women in Agribusiness Ghana, Esther has consistently championed youth and women empowerment through agriculture, mentorship, and enterprise development.

By showcasing SkinVive at Macfrut, she is not only promoting a product but also telling a larger story, one of innovation driven by local challenges, sustainability rooted in indigenous knowledge, and the transformative power of agribusiness in Africa.

As global conversations increasingly focus on climate resilience, sustainable production, and inclusive economic growth, Esther Kyerewaa Twumasi’s presence at Macfrut 2026 positions Ghana as a key contributor to these discussions.

Her journey serves as an inspiration to young entrepreneurs across Africa: that with innovation, resilience, and the right support systems, local solutions can gain global recognition and create lasting impact.
