The Office of the Special Prosecutor says it has taken note of Ghana’s performance on the 2021 Corruption Index released January 25, 2022, by the Transparency International.

A statement from the Office said Ghana’s stagnant performance is a stark reminder that corruption is and remains a serious and persistent problem. Ghana recorded a score of 43 out of a possible 100 which is the same score for 2020 but improved marginally in the country ranking from 75 in 2020 to 73 out of 180 countries in 2020.

The OSP says it is committed to the task of making corruption and corruption-related activities costly enterprises. It asked for a public Corporation in its fight against the menace.
