Residents of Koforidua in the New Juaben South Municipality of the Eastern Region are lamenting fifth that has engulfed the town for the past week.
Refuse containers have not been lifted, posing health concerns problems.
Reports from Koforidua however indicate that the disposal site at Akwadum is choked.
The residents are abhorred about the situation.
Meanwhile, the Eastern Regional Manager of Zoomlion Ghana Limited, George Aguadze attributed the situation to the recent rainfall in the Municipality which has made the access road to the landfill site difficult.
