Ghana’s First Lady, Lordina Mahama, has celebrated her husband, President John Dramani Mahama, on Father’s Day.
In a post shared on social media on Sunday, June 15, 2025, she praised the President as a devoted husband and an exceptional father, thanking him for his unwavering support and love.
“To my amazing husband and a truly wonderful father John Dramani Mahama — Happy Father’s Day!” she wrote. “Thank you for your strength, guidance, and the endless love you give our family. Bless you always!”
The message was accompanied by a portrait of a smiling President Mahama, and has since attracted hundreds of comments from Ghanaians and supporters alike, many also wishing the President well on the occasion.
President Mahama and the First Lady have five children: Farida, Jesse, Shafik, Shahid, and Sharaf.
