The Circuit Court Two in Cape Coast has sentenced Eric Asamoah to sixteen (16) years in prison with hard labour for sodomising seven year old boy.
The case, which was heard on November 6, 2025, was presided over by Her Honour Nana Aba Quaiba Nunoo.
According to the Ghana Police Service, the incident occurred on November 2, 2025. When the case was called, the accused, Eric Asamoah, pleaded guilty to the charge of defilement.
Based on his own plea, the court convicted him and handed down a sixteen-year prison sentence.
Asamoah has since been sent to the Ankaful Prison to begin serving his sentence.
