Marwako Restaurant in Accra remains shut, one week after allegations of food poisoning

Some customers of Marwako restaurant, which recently closed down some branches due to alleged food poisoning, have expressed mixed reactions over the whole saga. The Food and Drugs Authority FDA temporarily closed down some branches of the restaurant after some customers complained about food they consumed from the restaurant. A visit by GBC News to some branches revealed that they remain closed down per the instructions issued by the FDA.

Speaking to Noah Owusu, some of the customers, however, declared their intention to still eat from the restaurant when the problem is resolved.

Others also said they will not, because they do not know what might happen in future.
