Erzoah Bogoro, a family member of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, first President of the Republic of Ghana has expressed sadness about the way Governments now and before pay little or no attention to the Nkrumah family and said the Late First President’s family needs to be compensated.
Speaking on the GTV Breakfast Show from Half Assini in the Western Region, Mr. Bogoro revealed that Nkrumah’s family House at Nkroful was not built by Dr. Nkrumah, but, rather by a benevolent person who later gave it out to Osagyefo.
He described that the roofing sheets on the building are worn out and suggested that work should be done on it to preserve its tourist potential.
Mr. Bogoro demanded that the government comes to their aid and build new homes for the families to dedicate the House, as Dr. Nkrumah’s home which will give respect to the name of Dr. Nkrumah as well as serve as a tourist attraction site, whiles the family benefits from the revenue from the tourists.
Mr. Bogoro immortalized Dr. Nkrumah as a very clean and genuine person who never liked cheating or to be cheated.
