Phase2Face Beauty Clinic and College has successfully graduated 16 people in the various courses on vocational and technical education and training (TVET).
In a graduation ceremony held at Dome Pillar 2, these young people who defied all odds to complete their courses were given the blessings to start their entrepreneurial journey. The ceremony was also used to relaunch the beauty clinic and college.
The President of the college, Mrs Faustina Nor Abini, who was excited to achieve this feat, spoke to the media.
She said her desire to establish Phase2Face Beauty Clinic and College was driven by her passion to create opportunities for people in order to reduce unemployment in the country.
She said graduands from this college have been equipped with the requisite knowledge and skills to fend for themselves without relying on government and family for survival.

She posited that Phase2Face Beauty Clinic and College is well positioned with state-of-the-art facilities to provide the best TVET for people who desire to be entrepreneurs.
She advised people who aim to achieve their goals to be persistent with what they do, adding that they should not give up easily when they are discouraged by people. She further said these people will come to them if they are able to succeed in what they do.
In his address, an international CBT expert on TVET educational technologies, Dr Stephen Turksons, said the notion that TVET is for people who are non-achievers and failures should be debunked.
The Chairperson for the occasion said this is not true because the TVET is more complicated than the liberal courses and that people who are not achievers cannot have the mental fortitude to undertake the course.
According to him, people who choose TVET have made the right decision because the course provides the skills and knowledge that are used in their line of work.
He said many countries that have developed have had their development hinged on TVET.
He admonished the graduands to make meaningful lives from the knowledge and skills they had acquired. He encouraged parents to enrol their kids in TVET because it’s the best way to develop the country.
Some of the graduands could not hide their joy over their successful graduation.
One of them, Grace Sharon Sarponmaa, said the God-fearing factor on the part of the President of the College encouraged her to complete the course. She urged many who have completed the various levels of education and seek employment to enrol themselves in Phase2Face Beauty Clinic and College.
Another, Eric Arthur, said his conviction to undertake vocational education made him quit his former school to enrol in Phase2Face Beauty Clinic and College. He disclosed that through this program, he is able to work for many artists and musicians. He encouraged people to make good use of the opportunities available and learn from the college, adding that the skills acquired are making life comfortable for him.
