Three suspects have been arrested by the Ghana Police Service in connection with a robbery at Kwabenya in the Greater Accra Region, following an intelligence-led operation by the National Operations Directorate (NOD) Surveillance Unit.

The robbery occurred on January 18, 2026, when two armed men attacked a residence in Kwabenya and stole several valuable items, including two iPhone 17 Pro Max phones, a gold necklace, an Apple Watch, GH¢14,000 in cash, a car key, and US$300. The robbers also forced the victim to log out of his iCloud account from one of the stolen phones.

Police investigations led to the arrest of Francis Amo, also known as Agogo; Anthony Boateng, known as Aisha Kojo; and Musah Ibrahim, known as Coded, who is believed to be a receiver of stolen items. The suspects have admitted their involvement in the crime.

During the operation, police recovered one iPhone 17 Pro Max, an Apple Watch, and a Samsung Fold phone. A search at the residence of Anthony Boateng uncovered offensive weapons, including a truncheon, a short machete, knives, scissors, lighters, and a face shield.

The suspects are currently in police custody assisting with investigations, while efforts continue to retrieve the remaining stolen items and to arrest any other persons linked to the robbery.
