Reports reaching GBC NEWS from Atadeka, a suburb of Ashaiman, close to Tema indicate that some 15 alleged criminals were apprehended by the Police this morning, October 7, 2021, for attempting to kidnap 2 children in the area.
It comes on the heels of some kidnap attempts in Takoradi and other parts of the country.
GBC’s Michael Dewornu who has been following up on the story reports that the police had a hectic time on Thursday rounding up the suspects and interrogating the prime persons in relation to the attempted Kidnapping.
The suspects are still in custody, and the Police have indicated that investigations are on-going.
