The world celebrated women with a focus to put women and girls at the centre of planning and action and to integrate gender perspectives into global and national laws and policies.
Sharing their views on GBC News Talking Point the Director of Odekro Madam Kinna Likimani said policies must be put in place to penalize persons who discriminate against women in order to uphold gender equality. For her part, Madam Sika Awoonor a Business Development Consultant said ”educating the girl child is the surest way to empower women”. Read more here
