The Daily Graphic urges the public to pay attention to fire safety as the yuletide draws nearer. It attributes the spate of fire outbreaks to the neglect of fire safety rules. The Graphic shares the caution by the director in charge of fire safety at the Ghana National Fire Service, Deputy Chief Fire Officer Obeng Darkwa, that more attention be paid fire safety rules. The paper entreats all to be careful in dealing with electrical gadgets especially those found in the kitchen. It says Christmas is supposed to be a joyous occasion, therefore pain has no place.

The Ghanaian Times says Agenda 2030 on Sustainable Development enjoins people to promote good health and wellbeing of the people so that no one is left behind. The paper argues that although Governments have made some strides in the development agenda of reducing poverty in the country, it still experiences growing inequalities and charges government to be proactive and address the situation through pragmatic social inclusive policies.
