The Daily Graphic: Draws the attention of up and coming celebrities to their predecessors such as the legendary Mike Tyson, Tupac, Kiki Gyan of Osibisa fame and many others who fell from grace to grass and ask them to take a cue from such persons. It says a lot have already been said about the nasty incident at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre, where the awards were held.  The paper urges the police not to relent in taking action against the two artistes. It also urges the leadership  of MUSIGA at all levels to wash their hands off the matter, to allow the police to bring the perpetrators to book.

The Ghanaians Times is glad that the two dance hall artistes have been arrested, and urges the police to get to the bottom of the matter and ensure they are duly sanctioned. The paper calls on the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Musicians Union of Ghana and other stakeholders to step in to reunite the two artistes before their feud gets to tragic levels.
