The Judicial Service of Ghana has announced a new directive requiring all newly filed cases and applications in the Superior Courts to be assigned by the Acting Chief Justice.

In a memorandum dated April 23, 2025, the Deputy Judicial Secretary, Dr. Cyracus B. Bapuuroh, directed registrars of the High Courts, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court to refer all new filings to the Acting Chief Justice, Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie.
