The Biakoye District Director of the Ghana Health Service, Rita Wurapah-Abudey, has appealed to parents particularly those in the Oti Region to allow their children to be vaccinated, to make them immune against the polio virus.
She disclosed that the polio vaccine has been tried, tested and approved over the years, hence it will have no side effect on the health of the children.
Mrs Wurapah – Abudey made the appeal at a Four Day Round Two Polio Vaccination Campaign at Tapa – Alavanyo in the Oti Rigion.
