Barring any hitch, an initiative to set up a shipping line to promote trade on the African continent will come on stream in November this year.
The shipping line being championed by the African Union with support from the private sector on the African continent forms part of the strategy for the African Continental Free Trade Area.
This was disclosed by the African Union Commissioner for Trade and Industry Ambassador Albert Muchanga in an interview with GBC news.
