President Akufo-Addo is expected to commission and hand over the African Continental Free Trade Area, AFCFTA, Secretariat to the African Union Commission, in Accra on Monday, August, 17.
The ceremony will be attended by the Chairperson of the African Union Commission and the newly elected Secretary-General of AFCFTA.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a limited number of guests from the private and public sectors will also attend the ceremony.
It will be broadcast live through local and international television networks and social media platforms.
