Ghana deserves better- Education Minister pleads for second chance

The Education Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has passionately appealed for a second opportunity to lead and revolutionize the educational infrastructure in Ghana.

Speaking at the unveiling of eighty educational projects under the theme “Witness Education Transformation in Action” on November 21, 2024, Dr. Adutwum expressed his commitment to eradicating outdated school buildings across the country if given the chance to continue serving.

Promising a significant transformation, he declared, “In four years, these old buildings will be a thing of the past if you entrust me with the opportunity, because Ghanaians deserve better.”

The Minister also addressed the New Patriotic Party’s agenda to promote a growth mindset in schools, recognizing it as a valuable initiative to empower students to strive for excellence in their endeavors.

Furthermore, Dr. Adutwum emphasized the importance of embracing change in the education sector, stating that improved learning environments are essential for achieving better educational outcomes for Ghanaian children in the future.
