Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Education Service Cassandra Twum Ampofo has confirmed to GBC News, the change of date for the re-opening of school for all form three SHS students.

Some students reported to school today only to be informed that the date for reopening has been postponed to 5th May without prior notice.

Reacting to this, the PRO of the National Council of PTAs Felicity Ahafianyo expressed worry at the date of re-opening without recourse to the National Council of PTAs.

She told Nathaniel Nartey that the Council has begun sending text messages to parents to inform them about the situation to prevent further inconveniences.
