Government has given clearance for public universities to recruit six thousand teaching and non-teaching staff.
The granting of the financial clearance is to address human capacity challenges facing public universities.
President Akufo- Addo announced this when he met Vice Chancellors of both public and private universities at the Jubilee House in Accra.
The President also announced that approval has been given for e-learning management system to be put in place to facilitate e- learning.
