The new Governing Council of the University of Education, Winneba, (UEW) has pledged to resolve all issues that caused disaffection between staff and management to ensure smooth academic work.
To this end, the Council will come up with new ideas to help foster good relationships among the rank and file of the University.
Chairman of the Council, Prof. Obeng Mireku, made these remarks at this year’s Congregation at Winneba in the Central Region.
Vice-Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba, Prof Afful Broni, appealed to government to help the University to recruit more academic staff to prepare for the expected high intake next year, due to the free SHS programme.
He said the school has put in measures to support students with disabilities.
