The Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has stated that Private School Teachers are included in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Training yet to take place across the country.
According to the Education Minister who is also Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe in the Ashanti Region said the Ministry has already engaged the Leaders of Private schools.
“They have been included in the new curriculum training. In fact, their Association has met with us and they have been included in the training”.
Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum on the #gtvbreakfast indicated that teachers from the primary school are being trained and those from the Junior High Schools will be trained next week.
He added that those been trained will also train other Teachers across the country.
“As I speak to you the teachers have been trained, the teachers, all junior high school are beginning their training for the common core curriculum. Primary school we did the training, but I know for a fact that the trainers are done and the trainers are going to train the trainees. They are now going to be training all the teachers across the country. I believe it will start next week”.
