In all, one thousand five hundred and twenty were awarded Bachelor of Technology degrees, one thousand four hundred and sixty-four were awarded Higher National Diplomas, out of which thirty-eight received Competency-Based Training certificates, while seven hundred and sixty-six received Diplomas of Technology.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor of TTU, Reverend Professor John Frank Eshun, reaffirmed the University’s commitment to providing quality education, fostering strong industry partnerships, and empowering graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their respective fields.

He stated that the University will continue its mission of academic excellence, research, innovation, and community impact, ensuring that its graduates are well equipped to make positive contributions to society and industry.
He stressed the University’s dedication to maintaining a supportive and conducive learning environment, while continually enhancing the overall student experience. Reverend Professor Eshun said TTU continues to forge strategic partnerships with both local and international institutions aimed at enhancing academic capacity, strengthening industry relevance, and expanding opportunities for staff and students.
He added that these collaborations support exchange programmes, industrial attachment placements, joint research, innovation projects, and training initiatives that contribute significantly to the University’s development.

According to him, the University remains committed to deepening these partnerships while actively pursuing new ones that will enrich its academic environment and position TTU as a leader in applied research, innovation, and technical education. He urged the graduands to explore new perspectives, challenge assumptions, and generate innovative ideas that go beyond conventional boundaries as they enter the corporate world.
Reverend Professor Eshun advised them against the temptation of short-term gains that could compromise their collective future.
Delivering a speech on behalf of the Western Regional Minister, the Municipal Chief Executive of the Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly (EKMA), Abdul Majeed Dokurugu, said the celebration reflects hard work, perseverance, discipline, and excellence.
He congratulated the students on the milestone achieved and encouraged them to forge ahead to attain even greater heights. He mentioned that TTU stands at the heart of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), which is significant to national development.
According to Mr Dokurugu, globally, nations that have thrived have done so as a result of strong TVET systems. He therefore reiterated government’s resolve to strengthen TVET education, describing it as a catalyst for youth empowerment and national prosperity.
Citations, laptops, and monies were presented to students who performed exceptionally well, with the overall best graduating student going to Judith Nana Abena Nti, who read Medical Laboratory Technology.
