The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Ghana, Legon has called for calm among students in the wake of an attack on a final year student by armed robbers.
The student body appealed to the University Authorities to beef up security in the area.
In an interview, the SRC President, Sylvester Owusu-Amoako, said the student who was attacked is responding to treatment at the 37 Military Hospital.
He added that the University is putting in place plans to prevent of such incidents on campus.
