The University of Cape Coast Library has been upgraded with what is called ‘Knowledge Commons,’ an information and data centre for teaching, learning and research.
The unit has, among others, 102 computer workstation connected to super high speed Internet and other facilities.
The Chancellor of the university, Dr. Sam Jonah who inaugurated the facility, reiterated the need for greater partnership between academia and industry to help Africa’s development agenda.
