Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has appealed to all faith-based institutions to support government’s effort as it prioritizes education.

He said education is the only realistic way to alleviate poverty and engender prosperity in all communities.

He said the Free SHS policy is therefore designed to address exclusion and to ensure the education of every Ghanaian child is uninterrupted.

Vice President Bawumia made these remarks at the opening of the maiden National Muslim Conference in Accra.

He urged Ghanaians, irrespective of their religious persuasions to continue to live in peace and harmony.
