Fifty-two outstanding students who excelled in the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) have been honoured at the 69th President’s Independence Day Awards in recognition of their academic excellence and dedication to learning.
The ceremony, organised by the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service with support from Nestlé Ghana Limited, brought together government officials, education directors, teachers, parents and the award-winning students to celebrate academic achievement.
The Vice President Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang congratulated the students for their discipline, perseverance and commitment to their studies.

She noted that the awards continue to recognise young people who distinguish themselves through hard work and also inspire other students across the country.
