Lawyers of the former Chief Executive of National Communications Authority, (NCA), William Matthew Tetteh Tevie has run to the Supreme Court with a Certiorari application  seeking to quash decision by the High  court  to open his defense.

The former CEO, who is the second accused person was to open his defense today  following a dismissal of an application by the first accused person the former Board Chairman Eugene  Baffoe Bonnie.

The dismissal of that application by the first accused means that  he needed seven days to put his house in order before he can opened his defense, hence the invitation on the second accused to open his defence.

However,  the court presided  over by Justice kyei Baffour said it has received a certiorari application before the apex court challenging the call on the second accused to open his defence to be heard on  July 23.

The case has been adjourned to July 23.
