The Eastern zone of Ghana shippers’ Authority has donated some relief items to Village of Life Academy in the Krachi West Municipality of the Oti Region.
This is part of Ghana Shippers Authority’s initiative in helping institutions and homes where individuals have difficulties in accessing better lives.
Village of Life Academy, whose core mandate is to rescue children who are into child trafficking and enrol them into education.
The institution is currently proving 45 children who have been rescued with education.
The items include bags of rice,cooking oil,school bags,books,pens,minerals, and other learning materials.
Mr. George Achibra,Director of Partners in Community Development Programme (PACODEP), was grateful for the assistant from Ghana Shippers Authority and said they kind gesture would go a long way in helping proving for these children under their care.
Mr. Winston Stevens,The Operations Officer Noted that the Authority’s initiative is in line with their core mandate and Village of Life Academy falls under institutions that are benefiting from their support.
